Qualification (Option 1)B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized University/institution (UGC-recognized/deemed under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956), recognized by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council
Qualification (Option 2)Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from an institution recognized by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council
Computer KnowledgeBasic computer application knowledge as prescribed under Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
LanguageAdequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both
Nursing Council RegistrationMust be registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council under the Gujarat Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1968 at the time of appointment (if not already registered)
