Eligibility

State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Tripura1 — Salary and allowances as admissible to a Secretary to the State Government
Educational QualificationEssential: Graduate from a recognized University.
DesirableRecognized Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Law, Management, Human Rights, Rehabilitation or Education of Persons with Disabilities.
ExperienceAt least 20 years of experience in a Group 'A' level or equivalent post in the Central Government or State Government; or in Public Sector Undertakings, Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies dealing with disability-related matters or social sector; or as a senior-level functionary in a registered State, National, or International level voluntary organization working in the field of disability or social development.
Special KnowledgeMust possess special knowledge or practical experience in respect of matters relating to rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
