Eligibility

  • Applicants for APPSCCE-2026 must satisfy all three mandatory eligibility conditions notified vide Government Notification F.No.AR-33/17/2026-SECT-1-AR dated 26 August 2026.
  • This is a restricted, state-specific recruitment - candidates who do not meet all three conditions below are not eligible, regardless of qualification.
  • Permanent Residence CriterionThe candidate must be a citizen of India and an inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) issued by the designated Competent Authority.
  • Indigenous Status and APST CriterionThe candidate must be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate, as per the list of Tribes notified under the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950.
