• 3YP II — First class Master's degree in Environmental science. A minimum of five years of research experience in climate change and its impacts on agriculture. Those with 3 years bachelor degree must have UGC/ICAR/CSIR/NET.
• 4YP II — Master's Degree/M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences/Soil Science with first class / OGPA ≥ 7.5 from a recognized university/institution.
• 5YP II — Master's Degree/M.Sc. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Microbiology, Agronomy, with first class / OGPA ≥ 7.5 from a recognized university/institution.
• 6YP II — M.Tech. in Hydrology/Water Resources Engineering/Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/Irrigation and Drainage Engineering or its equivalent.
• 7YP II — Post graduate degree in Agriculture/basic science (Life Sciences) or graduate/post graduate degree in professional courses (Life sciences or agricultural sciences).
• 8YP II — Master's Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences or equivalent with first class or OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/institution.
• 9YP II — Master's Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences or equivalent with first class or OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/institution.
