Eligibility

ProfessorA medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, A postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Thirteen years teaching and/or research experience for General disciplines, or ten years for Super-specialty discipline.
Associate ProfessorA medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, A postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Seven years teaching and/or research experience for General Discipline, or four years for Super-specialty disciplines.
